Does Hackintoshing damages any hardware of a Laptop/PC?

I have a Lenovo V15 IIL Laptop(IceLake), And I'm all set to install a hackintosh(Mojave) using opencore.

If I have done anything wrong in making EFI(kext/config.plist), will it cause slow death to the motherboard or any hardwares after post-install?? I know a OS don't actually damages the hardware generally, but I'm unsure because I'd seen someone reported a hardware damage on the web.

This is my first Hackintosh, but I don't want to damage my Laptop.
