From my understanding, I can do the updates in the MacOS environment itself. But I believe based on Dortania's guide, that Big Sur requires some different Kexts and tweaks in the config file. Do I make these changes in my OpenCore thumb drive before upgrading and deal with any issues it presents? Or do I upgrade MacOS then update the OpenCore thumb drive?
