What Doesn't Working

Everything works except

  • Airdrop & Handoff (Continuity sort of works)
  • iMessage (Logs in and logs out)
  • Wifi (As Expected Killer 1535 does not have any kexts. Bluetooth works with AirPortAtheros40.Kext)
  • Touchpad taps to make a selection don't work I have to use the provided physical buttons.
  • Safari is a little slow but its manageable.

Want to try

  • My Mac OS is installed on my HDD, I want to Shift it to the SSD and then dual boot Mac OS and Windows using BootCamp. I am Afraid to do so because I dont want to loose my genuine Windows.
  • I want Airdrop and Handoff coz I own an iPhone So I am planning to replace my wifi Card with one of the supported cards. On the other hand I want to try installing other Versions of Mac OS and check whether Airdrop and Handoff works or not (Atleast Airdrop).
  • Battery status patching steps from OpenCore Guide.

Help

  • Help me with the Battery Status Guide from OpenCore. I am a noob and its difficult for me to understand.
  • Help me find or build a kext/SSDT so that my touchpad works completely including taps gestures and also the physical buttons.
  • I desperately want Airdrop and Handoff. Please help me get it work using the wifi dongle and Killer 1535 Bluetooth. I haven't tried Airdrop on Ethernet may be it will work but I want it over Wifi.
  • iMessage logs in and then automatically logs out. tried different guides to fix but with no Success . Note: App Store and iCloud Log in works fine.
  • Help me fix IGpu Memory, It shows some weird number (Ex: 31Mb as shown in the 1st pic.)
  • My USB type-C port and one of the USB 3.0 ports show us as one single port in USBMap and Hackintool. Help me fix it.
  • Animations don't work smoothly. Ex: Finder opening and minimizing animation stutters.
  • Advise on moving Mac OS to my SSD. Will I loose my Genuine Windows?
  • ScreenSaver makes my Hackintosh inoperable. It responds to keyboard clicks extremely slowly. Can anyone Guide me why this happens and help me to fix it.

Time

It took me around 7-10 Days to Install Mac OS OpenCore. (Note: I only spent on an average 4 Hrs per day)

  • 2 days of research and risk assessment
  • 2-3 days to boot from the usb drive
  • 1 Day to run Wifi USB Dongle.
  • 3-5 days to figure out and fix issues like USB Mapping, Power Management etc.
  • Still figuring out issues and fixes.
