I just installed opencore on my laptop and everything works fine,
There's one thing that I dont like and it's the fact that the cpu fan start spinning too soon.
My laptop is a thinkpad 13 and it usually cools itself passivelly, while on the desktop or doing simple tasks. I know macos desktop is more gpu intensive than gnome or windows.
I tried installing cpu temperature apps to monitor when it turn the fan on and it does it above 45º.
IMO 45º is okay for a common "mostly passive cooling laptop"
I would like to change that i think its kinda early because it goes from 45 to 60 super fast while the fan is on and the it drops to 35 or 40. It just turn on the fan for a brief moment.
Is there any way I can customize that fan speed curve?
