Ryzen 7 3700x, AMD 5700XT, Big Sur 11.3 OC 0.6.8 Success! (Dual boot)

After multiple days of trying to fix everything, it's finally working. It's stable and snappy for daily usage. Dual boot works with Windows 10 on a separate drive. The current SMBIOS that I am using is the MacPro7,1

Took a photo in the dark to hide my poor cable management 😅

My System Specs :

  • Processor: Ryzen 7 3700X
  • GPU: AMD 5700XT Blower Edition ASUS
  • Motherboard: MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC (Wifi)
  • Ram: 8x2 3200Mhz Thermaltake Toughram
  • Storage: Separate 240GB SSDs for Mac and Windows and extra HDDs for Storage

Disabled Bios Settings :

  • Virtualization
  • Above 4G Crypto mode (my windows would not boot with this enabled, I am using the npci0x2000 boot flag to counter this)
  • Secure Boot
  • Serial/COM Port etc.

Enabled Bios Settings :

  • XHCI Hand-off
  • UEFI
  • SATA Mode: AHCI

What Works?

  • Onboard Audio
  • Onboard Wifi and Bluetooth
  • Onboard Ethernet
  • Power Management (Current Temps on CPU are around 45c, which is great considering ambient temps of 30+ in Mumbai Summer and an NZXT H510 Case )
  • Audio Input: USB Condenser Mic
  • Sleep, Shutdown & Restart, etc.
  • Apple Secure Boot
  • iServices, but I don't use it anyway.

What's Broken?

  • Motherboard RGB lighting (Maybe needs the USB map to be updated)
  • Probably other features specific to the ecosystem that I have not tested.

Here's what my EFI Folder Looks like
