Issues with MIDI Bluetooth.

Hi, I hope somebody will be able to help me figure out this obnoxious bug.I've been using a Trust Bluetooth 4.0 adapter for years (https://www.trust.com/en/product/18187-manga-bluetooth-4-0-adapter): it's natively recognised by Mac OS, can be updated through the Brcm kext and works quite well (aside for its limited range) with any device, ranging from Apple's Magic mouse and keyboard to phones.

The only device that refuses to work is my Yamaha MD-BT01. It's a bluetooth Midi adapter: you simply connect it to any keyboard's midi ports and it enables bluetooth communication with your DAW or softsynth. The issue is, whilst it connects flawlessly with iOS devices, it has stopped connecting with Mac OS, and it's been this way for a couple years already.

More specifically, when I open Mac's MIDI Audio configuration app, then Bluetooth Configuration, my Yamaha adapter's revealed, but if I attempt to click on Connect, Mac tries for a few seconds and then stops, without any error whatsoever; the button's back to Connect, as if I never attempted in the first place. I usually stop after trying for a dozen times, but once in a blue moon it would connect, either after a few tries or after a million. Here's you can find the official guide: https://yamahasynth.com/learn/Accessories/get-connected-md-bt01-ud-bt01-with-mac-os

Needless to say, I contacted Yamaha twice, but not only their custom support's beyond terrible (they took a few months to reply the first time), they couldn't even actually help me troubleshoot the issue. I've only ever find a single thread where a user experienced the same bug, but nobody was able to help them out.

So, what might the problem be? Is it my Bluetooth dongle? Did perhaps newer Mac OS versions break support for the Yamaha adapter (which is, surprisingly, almost exclusively used with iOS devices according to netizens)? Is there any way to diagnose the reason why Mac fails to connect, either via bash or OpenCore or whatever?

I know it's an extremely specific issue, but I will appreciate any help, as I really need this adapter (you have no idea how frustrating it is physically moving my keyboard whenever I need to connect them to my hack in order to compose or record something)!
