Apple can’t figure this out, anyone have any suggestions?

I’m running Big Sur on a thinkpad t480 I’m using https://github.com/EETagent/T480-OpenCore-Hackintosh this config with the exception of the intel WiFi/Bluetooth kexts as I have a Broadcom chipset installed. The problem: the ONLY account I can use for iMessages/FaceTime is my work Apple ID. Any other account and iMessage just goes back to the login screen. I’ve tried logging out, restarting, reinstalling, etc. any ideas? Apple support was clueless.
