I really haven't really kept up with the ins and outs of hackintoshing (since El Capitan) and also it will be my first attempt with a laptop.
Back then Clover was the go to but now I guess there's Open Core. What are the benefits to using one over the other? What version of MacOS would I want to go with? Can I swap out the Wi-Fi card? Do I need to be able to use any peripheral devices during install? Ideally, if someone with the same laptop could walk me through the guesswork that would be amazing. However some relevant guides and videos would work just as well. Thanks!
