Mail was occasionally crashing when emptying trash, some apps were slow to boot, and memory was overwhelmingly tied up.
Since this update the OS seems nearly perfect. I’m going to stick with High Sierra. Good job Apple!
Also able to install Big Sur in VMware running under High Sierra. It is running slowly but does work, even with 16 GB of RAM devoted. Graphics are slow as would be expected. Does latest VMware Darwin.iso have updated drivers?
