Killed my iPhone X trying to replace the dying battery.
Ended up having to get version 12 of the phone. The Hackintosh was able to tackle the process of restoration of the backup from iTunes.
Have to applaud Apple on making a fine OS. It really came through when I needed it most.
Definitely getting the second generation of Apple CPU based Mac portable as my next machine.
