I brought a MacBook Pro from this woman on Facebook Marketplace for strictly video editing and etc.. overall it is a nice MacBook and performs well but I had no idea the laptop would be stuck in 2010.. I was able to do the IMovie hack and it is running the latest version but my question is if I do the Catalina patcher by dosdude1 will I be able to download newer apps from the App Store? Currently it will not let me download any due to it not being 10.14 or higher..
TDLR; Purchased refurbished 2010 MacBook Pro and unable to download newer apps from AppStore, will installing the Catalina Patcher trick the system to letting me download apps using 10.14 or higher?
