I'm a bit stuck in getting Catalina Hackintosh to install on my HP Omen Laptop. (Going to be a Clover-based, and dual booted with Windows 10 (currently installed)). I am completely new to this and started around a day ago, I am picking some things up but not enough it seems - i have hit a brick wall.
Laptop Model: HP Omen 15-ax000na Laptop
Hardware:
- CPU: Intel Core i5-6300HQ
- GPU: GeForce GTX 965M (DISABLED in device manager) / Intel HD Graphics 530
- RAM: 8GB DDR4-SDRAM
- Motherboard: HP 8257
- Motherboard Chipset: Intel® HM170
- Ethernet Card: Realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller
- Wifi/BT Card: WiFi 5 (Removed from laptop (Broken))
- Keyboard: Standard PS/2 Keyboard
- Touchpad: Synaptics SMBus TouchPad

- What part I got an issue with: I was following the youtube tutorial (createinstallationmedia -> Clover -> boot from USB...). However, after pressing Boot MacOS with selected options, it does not pass beyond the following message directly at the beginning: apfs_module_start:1689: load: com.apple.filesystems.apfs, v1412.11.7 (Here is a link to a picture of the error ).
- What files/config I am using: The config I am using is a sample Skylake config.plist from Hackintosh Vanilla Desktop Guide website. The EFI and kexts are however identical to the ones used in the video tutorial above. (starts at 11:53). Also, here is a link to my EFI folder. If somebody could help me it would greatly appreciated.
- Extra Info: I am Dual booting with Windows 10. Within the SSD drive where windows is installed, I have partitioned off around half the storage, I plan to install Catalina in this partition during the disk utility stage in the video tutorial.
