Hi
I have a laptop with a 1 TB internal drive and 2 external 1 TB drives
I run Windows and Ubuntu on dual boot in my internal drive. macOS runs from one of the external drives. The other is a backup drive.
I want to retain this setup. My problem : I use the three Operating Systems for different things. So my data is scattered and not synced at all. Backing up is such an irritating thing to do in such a setup. I want to have all my data accessible from all systems for smooth usage.
I am planning to create an exFAT partition to store all my data and access it from all the operating systems. And let one of the external drives be the backup.
Will this method work ? Will using the same partition from different operating systems corrupt the filesystem and mess up any of the operating systems ? What better way is there to help my purpose ?
Thank you !!
