Hi,
My hackintosh is a dual boot system. On Windows, my microphone is excellent. On Mac OS, it's very quiet. Again: it's the same computer. I have tried everything, but it still doesn't work well.
In the system preferences, under volume input, I can see my device, but the volume bar does not show anything when I speak. However, it records some voice, because it's usable in Discord (but quiet).
My specifications:
- 10.15.6 Catalina
- Asus Z270F motherboard
- i7 6700
- RX 580 8 GB
-16 GB DDR4 RAM
