What is the beefiest intel CPU/chipset you can run against 10.14?

I've built a 2950x hack to replace my i8700k on 10.13, and really enjoy having 32 threads, but after a couple days fooling around with this, i think i need to keep 32 bit and Adobe support. so that means an intel CPU running under 10.14.

I have been looking at an i9900k + z390, but that only gets me 16 threads. so, the question: are there any xeons with more threads and comparable clock rate whose chipsets are supported in 10.14? or is this a lost cause? seems like MacPro7,1 requires 10.15 so I assume all those processors are out of reach.
