So, recently, I posted a Asus Zenbook UX430UA Hackintosh Success , and it got a lot of love from you guys.
Today, I updated all the kexts to the latest versions, and clicked update, and everything went smoothly, just like my real iMac.
Specs:
Model/make: Asus Zenbook UX430UAR
CPU: Intel core i5 8250U 4c/8t
GPU: integrated Intel uhd 620 graphics.
Audio: realtek alc 294
WiFi/BT: Intel ac8265
What works: Everything that I've tried and I use.
What doesn't work: Handoff/continuity and airdrop. Also, the trackpad sometimes freezes and the laptop has to be restarted for it to work again. (This is a known issue on windows too for this model.)
WiFi works well, using the Intel itwlm kext and the heliport app, but no handoff/continuity and the speeds are capped at 50mbps for now.
What guide I followed: I used the vanilla laptop guide in the sidebar, and got some hotpatches from a github repository of the zenbook model.
