I have a stable 10.15.5 clover bootloader based install where i gave the new 10.15.6 beta upgrade a try. For me its parking on the apple logo with now progress bar ever being displayed when booting from the "Boot macOS Install Preboot from Prebooter" boot menu selection that is enabled as the default selection after the installer triggers the first reboot.
Restarting and boot from the "macOS install on Local Drive" boot menu selection just takes me back to my 10.15.5 install.
Do you have to do a from scratch boot and install to get on beta or new rtw updates of macOS versus being able to walk through the upgrade process that would work on apple hardware?
