Haven't bought the pieces yet, so if I should substitute anything feel free to comment.

- Motherboard: (~$100 ebay) - GIGABYTE GA-Z270-HD3
- RAM: $90 - Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 X 8GB) DDR4 3600
- GPU: MSI RX 580 8gb (currently own)
- PSU: $55 - 500w thermaltake
- Case: $55 - Thermaltake
- SSD: $65 - 500gb - Random brand with good reviews
- CPU Heatsink - $25 - Random brand LED FAN
- Thermal Paste - $10
- SATA III Cable - $10
Total before tax: $615
I recently sold my 2015 15" macbook pro. It was a tough decision until i found the hackintosh community, as I'm saving money with this setup. build was based off of a comment by /u/dracoflar, since I already have the same video card.
