Hot-swapping SMBIOSes?

Hey guys. So, quick question ...

I've got a 100% working Hackintosh set up (Asus Prime Z390-A, i7-9700k, Radeon 5700 XT) on 10.15.4, OpenCore 0.5.7. It's set up as an iMac19,1, and everything works great (sleep, hardware acceleration for h.264/265, DRM, Continuity, etc).

I recently set up an iMacPro1,1 SMBIOS config for it, on a backup partition, and signed into iCloud and iMessages, and again, it all seems to work perfectly. The big advantage is that hardware video acceleration is obviously MUCH faster as it's using the 5700 XT, rather than the iGPU.

My question is, since both the iMac and the iMac Pro are now associated with my iCloud account (and iMessages), would it be safe/possible to simply use the new EFI (the iMac Pro one) to boot up into my main macOS partition? I'd rather not have to re-download my entire iCloud Photo Library (it's like 400GB, and all downloaded locally) and re-install all of my apps, etc. Ideally, I'd like to be able to switch back to my iMac19,1 EFI if the iMacPro1,1 EFI ends up performing worse in certain apps, or if there turns out to be issues with power management, and so on.

So, yeah - has anyone done that before? Switch 'seamlessly' between two SMBIOSes, without logging out of iCloud?
