Unable to detect APFS drive in macOS installer

Hi,

I have a ThinkPad Carbon X1 6:th generation. I have been following these instructions. The hard drive which the computer was shipped with is not supported by macOS. Thus, just to be able to test how the overall hackintosh system would perform (features, performance, battery life etc), I switched the M.2 SSD drive my desktop hackintosh were using to the laptop. I didn't want to erase the content, so I made a new APFS volume inside the APFS container.

Clover detects the existing macOS installation, but once inside the macOS installer they are nowhere to be found. Disk Utility only sees the USB drive.

apfs.efi HFSPlus-64.efi ApfsDriverLoader-64.efi

doesn't work. Even tried with VBoxHFS.efi. Any ideas? Thanks!
