I just installed el capitan on my thinkpad x220 following this guide http://x220.mcdonnelltech.com/os-x-el-capitan-installation/. After booting everything seems to be working fine so do i still need to install the kexts with kext utility? When i did it on Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-mojave-on-supported-pc.html'>Mojave before it broke my brightness controls so will my machine be fine without?
