I'm trying to reinstall El Capitan with system recovery. my computer had a really bad root issue so I go to system recovery mode and I keep getting the message "No packages were eligible for install. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance. Quit the installer to restart your computer and try again." I tried to change the time and date from the terminal but no luck. Anyone have this issue? if so how did you resolve it. I have macbook 2016 a1534 2991 thanks for the help :-)
