USB 3.0 nightmare

Hey everyone! I'm having some serious trouble and I'm hoping y'all can help.

The short version is that my hackintosh thinks my USB 3.0 ports are USB 2.0 ports. I have tried everything I know how to do to fix this, including:

  • Checked all four boxes in MultiBeast:
    • 3rd Party USB 3.0
    • 7/8/9 Series USB support
    • Remove XHCI USB Port Limit
    • USBInjectAll
  • Used Clover Configurator to:
  • Used kext installer b7 to install:
    • USBInjectAll.kext
    • FakePCIID.kext
    • FakePCIID_WHCIMux.kext
  • Manually verified all of the above in Clover on startup

Now, system specs are important, so here's what I'm running.

My hypothesis is that my SMBIOS is tied to my i7 2600K, which is the 2011 "iMac Core i7" series of machines, which never had USB 3.0. If that's true, is there any way at all to make my machine finally see its USB 3.0 ports or am I doomed because of my processor? I've used this machine for 7 years and never actually needed USB 3.0 until now, but now I really need it for a device that actually requires USB 3.0 (an Elgato capture card, for what it's worth).

I'm at the end of my rope here. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. If you can solve my problem, I will be personally indebted to you.
