HP 8300 High Sierra Vanilla - Kernel Panic Power Management

I just installed High Sierra on an HP 8300 SFF with an i5. I can boot easily with the clover boot loader(on the usb drive that I created at the beginning of the installation) if I use the NullPowerCPUPowerManagement.kext. However, when I go to boot the actual install, it panics with a AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement error. Should I just install the NullPower kext into /Library/Extensions and forget about it? Do I have to worry about that; or is it not a big deal?

Here are the settings I used in clover and Clover Configurator:
Clover 2.5k r5045:
for UEFI booting only
ApfsDriverLoader
VboxHfs
OsxAptioFix3Drv
all other options left to default

Clover Configurator:
Generate Pstates
Generate Cstates
Drop tables: SSDT CpuPM and Cpu0ist, DMAR
Boot: -v debug=0x100
CsrActiveConfig: 0x67
SMBIOS: Imac 13,2
