Seeking help for Hackintosh on a Dual XEON E5-2680 v3 and GTX 980 Ti

Dear all,

I have been reading posts here for a while, and this is my first post actually.

In this spring, I got a used Dell T7910 XL workstation from a surplus store, and I was thinking to try Hackintosh on it from linux. I tried Hackintosh on an X79 chipset about 3 years ago (failed though), but I have never tried on a system with two CPUs. I also heard KVM is a popular option. Technically, the CPU and chipset may not be far from the 2013 Mac Pro, but Nvidia graphics seems more complicated than an AMD one? (Don't think it would be worthwhile to swap the 980 Ti for an AMD one...).

The system has the following configuration:

CPU: Dual Xeon E5-2680 V3

Chipset: Intel C612

RAM: 8*8GB DDR4 2133 MHz ECC

Graphics: GTX 980 Ti

Storage: SATA SSD

I am wondering if anyone could pass some helpful information or direct experience. I found some posts but most of them are about three years ago with some deprecated methods for Hackintosh.

Thank you!
