I'm running Mojave on a Hackintosh Z370 Asus Formula with Sapphire 580 graphics card and Intel 8700 processor. In previous years I've run a separate install on a separate drive for beta versions of new software releases. I've used a separate EFI folder with clover on the beta drive for booting so I can make any changes required to run the beta software effectively. However I've always shared the same build type and serial number and UUID etc with my main build.
My question is would it be better to use a different serial number etc. for the beta build to avoid any conflicts with my working main build?
