Hey guys,
I just prepared the bootable USB using the vanilla method and I'm ready to give my first try creating a Hackintosh.
Question: Do I have to do something on the BIOS before installing it? I saw a few different tutorials on youtube and a few of them made a few changes on the BIOS config before installing macos.
Do I have to do something? Couldn't find anything related on the matter in the FAQ or in the Vanilla method tutorial page.
Also, I have an SSD and an HDD in this machine. I'm going to install macos on the SSD, but do I have to wipe out both before the installation? (right after you boot with the USB for the first time) or should I just erase the SSD and the HDD is going to work fine?
Here is my setup:
CPU: i7 7700 3.50GHz Skylake
Cpu Cooling: Cooler Master Seidon 120 Ver.2
Motherboards: Gigabyte B250-HD3P - Intel KabyLake ATX
Memory (RAM): Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) 3000MHz DDR4 Memory
Hard Drive (HDD): 1TB Seagate Barracuda Hard Drive 3.5 SATA III
Solid State Drive (SSD): 240GB Kingston HyperX Fury Solid State Drive
Graphics Card (GPU): Geforce GTX 1060 3GB
Power Supply (PSU): 500W Aerocool Integrator 80
Wi-Fi Card: TP Link 300Mbps Wireless N PCI
