Basically have my ThinkPad X1 Extreme Hackintosh where I want it for my needs.
Really only have two things outstanding that I'd like to address:
- Fan noise. Disabling the dedicated GPU for macOS did help quite a bit it seems. Definitely hear it revving up less frequently and the fan noise is quieter overall. Still it does occasionally rev up for like 30 seconds when it comes to opening a couple Chrome tabs or opening the DSDT.dsl for editing. What else can I do to keep the fan noise down (articles and what not)?
- I actually need to test this again since I just got it fully working tonight, but yesterday I couldn't get external monitors to be recognized through either TB3, HDMI, or both. Tried with the devices plugged in at boot and plugging/unplugging after boot. Any suggestions on resolving this?
