I run an older Hackintosh with Sierra 10.12 on the following hardware:
GIGABYTE GA-Z77-D3H LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge Quad-Core 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 77W BX80637I53570K
16GB RAM
AMD Radeon HD 6700
Intel Series 7 SATA
Honestly, this setup has worked great for years. Output to 3 monitors. I use bootloader from a Clover USB stick because I never got the Clover to work right from SSD, but it's fine, no problem.
I created a new Clover USB stick using latest Clover w/drivers and kexts for Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-mojave-on-supported-pc.html'>Mojave support. Pretty sure I have all the updated files, though maybe I'm missing something somewhere.
Downloaded Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-mojave-on-supported-pc.html'>Mojave from App Store, started installer. It did its thing, then system reboots. At this point when the Clover bootloader kicks in, I am suppose to choose MacOS Install to continue the upgrade. But, doing so just leads to a panic screen (attached).
Not really sure where to go from here. Is my hardware too old? Video card? Sierra system is pre-APFS, could that be the problem?
