Found a useful Lenovo video walking one through how to replace the card, but want to make sure the replacement card is compatible.
I’ve got an x250 i5 5xxx, looking at hackintoshing it (installing MacOS on a secondary internal drive), but the default intel wireless card doesn’t work for that. Been reading that the Dell DW1830 BCM943602BAED is a good replacement, works for Windows, Linux, and Mac. There’s plenty of these cards on eBay, but the sellers say “not compatible with Lenovo”
Are there multiple form factors for these? it looks like they are m.2 ngff, which is what the slot on the x250 is. Anyone else try this card?
