I'm really interested in trying out of curiosity but finding everything necessary appears difficult and rather off-putting than straight-forward. And I'm a Power User.

Don't get me wrong. I have read seen numerous posts about how everyone has managed, there's a ton of different tutorials but just like with hacking a Nintendo console or putting a custom rom on an Android phone, there is just so much information and no single, agreed upon way to get it done but rather you have to really look hard to find out exactly what it is that you need in order to set up something like Mojave on the specific type of rig you use.

I will definitely give it a shot but I will skip finding my specific hardware and check beforehand whether it is compatible or not. I'm also on AMD, both GPU and CPU so what I will do is get a spare hard-drive first and then roll with that. Luckily there is a very, recent, made in January, thread on the AMD-OSX forums which covers getting down the bootable media part from within Windows.

It is my belief the Hackintosh community would benefit from a centralized hub where all the information is pooled into a single, big-ass guide that covers everything where I can CTRL+F to whatever I'm looking for.
