I'm considering of trying osx on an ultrabook with an 8250 but i don't really want to use the only available ssd for that and I'd like to install it on an external ssd (on either a 3.0 or 3.1 gen2/tb3 enclosure) would that work as a boot drive? Would mac recognize tha? Since it has 2 tb3 x4 ports could I connect an external egpu eventually if I wanted to (on osx, ik on win works)?
