I had read that some applications use the iGPU like final cut and preview. I had had mine enabled in bios but have found some stuttering issues in after effects during ram preview. I disabled the iGPU and am now testing after effects and playback seems much smoother. Though preview is no longer able to display photos, but I think I read there is a kext that can fix that. I'm not sure if premiere uses the iGPU or if it will get along ok without, same with photoshop. So the question is, are you using your iGPU? Or getting along fine just on the GPU?
