Random freezing & the majority end up requiring a reboot.

So I went ahead and upgraded to MacOs High Sierra like a week or 2 ago. I faced some original troubles with my graphics card but I got that all sorted out and I am still having issues. I seem to have random freezing where my mouse will still move but it won’t allow me to click on anything nor will it register my keyboard. I have tried different keyboard and mice and still have the same issue. My specs are as follow: i3-3225 CPU intel processor(Ivy Bridge)- 2 core, 3.3 GHz, 3mb cache, Intel HD graphics 4000. 16gb of DDR3 corsair LP ram Gigabyte motherboard-Q77M-D2H MSI R9 280. I still seem to have these random freezes does anyone have any ideas on how to solve it? I currently have XMP detection turned off so it’s showing my memory at slow speeds than it’s capable of but I don’t think that would be causing the freezing. I also have it configured as an iMac 13,2. Any ideas or advice would be much appreciated because MacOs on it is currently unusable!
