Is it worth it (or even do-able) to install Snow Leopard on the latest hardware?

I admit I am in over my head. I thought the easiest route would be to buy a Snow Leopard disk and use it on the hardware I purchased. I also bought an old A1181 Mac Book to help with installation (the white plastic version that no longer supports Sierra, etc.)

My Hardware:

MOTHERBOARD: AsRock Fatal1ty z370 Gaming ITX

PROCESSOR: Coffee Lake Core i5-8400 LGA 1151

OS DRIVE: Inland 240GB SSD 3.5"

REGULAR DRIVE: HGST 1TB 3.5" 7200 RPM

GRAPHICS: Internal Intel Graphics

I am stuck on this screen with iBoot (http://oi60.tinypic.com/1056xit.jpg)

I hear there are issues with Intel internal graphics and snow leopard. I can buy a graphics card--that would be no problem.

I think I set all the BIOS settings correctly (AHCI, etc)

Should I borrow a more up to date laptop and start over?

Or is there a fix?
