As the title says. Ive used macs for 20 years and will continue too, however i would also like to have some umph on occasion for gaming and VR.
The new Nuc with the Vega got me thinking about building a system around a eGPU, which OS X now adds native support, instead of it being an addition. My thinking was you could save some money(besides the eGPU of course).
The easy thing to do, which i will likely do, is wait for the new mini and hope it has TB3. Until then i thought it might be worth discussing. Im terrible at building PCs, which is also why im asking.
