I did a fresh install of high Sierra and it booted fine, I went through the first time setup (connecting to WiFi, creating a user account etc.) I got to the desktop and was able to use the system. I made no modifications and shut down. I then turned the system back on again, and selected my MacOS drive from clover, I was shown the Apple logo for a split second and then a no entry symbol. I then tried booting in verbose mode and it outputs:
OsxAptioFix2Drv: Starting overrides for \System\Library\CoreServices\boot.efi
Using reloc block: no, hibernate wake: no
Read error 0x7
Error loading kernel cache (0x7)
Boot failed, sleeping for 10 seconds before exiting...
The recovery partition however, boots up perfectly fine.
