I'm having two separate issues that I suspect to be related.
NordVpn will connect on Mac, but never on Windows
Bittorrent ports (any) will connect on Windows, always remain closed on Mac
I even went out and Got a Pci ethernet card to have a controlled experiment. Uses a different Kext, but now either of them work, but still have the same issue.
I tried port forwarding for the bittorrent issue, no change. -that part doesn't make sense either, because I needn't do anything to make it work on other PCs and Macs in the same house.
Possibly a BIOS setting? They've got to be related somehow. Using these two ethernet cards
- Built in Ethernet on GA-z68xp-ud3
- TP-link TG-3269
I've just had a silly idea about giving each of them their own cable to the router, I wonder if that will help
