So I needed to replace my HDD in my mac. I used one from an old windows laptop that I had laying around. Anyway, I go into recovery mode and format one of the drive partitions (D Drive), so there would be both windows and OSX on the HDD. I was about to install snow leopard or whatever it was, but then I remembered that I had this UniBeast installer USB with clover, so I thought to use that as it would be quicker and with a more recent version of OSX. So I reset the Macbook and boot from the USB instead. The installation failed. I restarted the computer.
Now my Macbook wont boot. Safe mode doesn't work. I have seen that other people have had this problem before, but I cannot find a solution.
One notable difference that I am experiencing from others is that the boot chime does not loop, but it still stays on a white screen with no apple logo. I can also still chuck in the USB and have clover run.
What are my options at this point? Is it possible for me to restore it back to factory settings? Would it be possible for me to boot Linux or something from a USB and remove clover from there?
