Hey all! Quick question. I've seen in a couple places that AMD video cards are getting better export times with FCPX due to the program's reliance upon OpenCL vs. CUDA technology. But it also seems that Nvidia cards are easier across the board to configure. I'm building a new rig that I will primary use as an audio/video editing machine and am wondering if the latest batch of AMD video cards are easier to configure or if I should just stick with Nvidia, even if it means longer export times.
Any help/insight you guys can offer is much appreciated. Thanks!
