Gigabyte GA-H270-Gaming 3 // i7 7700 // Gigabyte 1050 Ti Windforce - Pre-Build Review

Hi all. Been reading a lot here and at Tonymac the last couple months and think it’s time to go ahead with my first hack build.

I’ve built several PCs and a few Linux boxes but it’s been nearly a decade (last machine was on a Q6600).

Been running my home studio off my maxed 2012 MBP and I’d like it to be portable again.

FireWire is for my Steinberg MR816X. Dual 1TB are for projects and samples and will ideally be in RAID1.

I’ve seen some similar builds go ok and have the links for the vanilla install guides etc. Anyone see anything I may have missed here before I hit the order button?

Thanks so much for taking the time!
