I have some strange issues with 10.8.4.
I've changed my CPU from an Intel core 2 duo to an Intel Core 2 Quad QX6850 Extreme, running a Gigabyte GA-41M-Combo board. When i start the OS with cpus=1, nearly everything works perfectly, BUT the system only uses one core. so when i start with no flags, all cores are working, but i get some strange errors, like instead of the mouse cursor i get the ball. (and it stays, but you can work). Safari doesn't work properly. It stucks when i open it, and does not get full screen. When i click on about my mac and wanna close it again, it doesn't. It's still on my desktop but gets transparent and you can't move it. I don't know if it's important but i use a nVidia GeForce 210 1024MB RAM, but don't think it's about the graphic card.
does somebody have an advice?
