OCLP Sequoia on rMBP: high stress, battery drain, and overheating – is sonoma any better?

Hi everyone,
I’ve been testing macOS Sequoia for over a month on my MacBook Pro 2014 (i7, 16GB, Iris Pro 5200 only) with OCLP. The system feels constantly under stress: the battery drains very quickly (despite being new), the Mac heats up fast, and fans go full speed even with light tasks like Safari.

I’m now reverting to Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-mojave-on-supported-pc.html'>Mojave, but I’m wondering: is Sonoma any better on this hardware with OCLP?
