Never done a dualboot before but have been looking into it a little so please forgive me . I'd like to know if it would be worth skipping the macbook pro and just purchasing a windows laptop and dualboot windows 11 and macOS. My fears with this route is that at one point a windows computer would not be able to run a somewhat up to date version of macOS and my decently powerful windows laptop can now only run windows :/ I like the look and feel of both OS's hence my want for dual booting and maybe even triple booting with a linux distro for funsies. I would like to have my laptop working this way for at least 3-5 years if that makes any difference. I know that VMs on MacBooks is possible but I don't like the cons of running VMs, performance issues, etc.
