MacBook shows Sonoma in settings although it is unsupported.

Hi, I had previously had Sonoma running on my 2017 MacBook but have since deleted the install and installed Monterey as it was overheating. The problem is that the software update shows Sonoma and wants to update to it. How can I stop it from showing the unsupported OS and instead show Ventura (what it should be showing on this MacBook)?
