Ok, I'm quite proud of this one. I made a full AMD Ryzentosh, with 32GBs of RAM, and dualbooted with Windows 11. The specs of the build are as follows:
- AMD Ryzen 7 5800X
- Sapphire Nitro+ Radeon RX 580 (8GB variant, none of your loser-y 4GB cards here)
- 32GBs of Corsair Vengeance 3200Mhz DDR4 RAM
- EVGA 500 watt PSU (Underpowered, I know, it will be upgraded soon)
- Deepcool AK400 Zero Dark Plus CPU cooler
- Asrock B450M Pro4 motherboard
- Deepcool CH370 White PC Case
- 500GB Kingston SATA SSD (Windows is installed on the Nvme drive) + 2TB HDD
What's working: Apple ID + iCloud, all USB, DRM, Power management, dualbooting, sound, microphone, graphics, etc.
What's not working: Only Sleep
I wanted to build my own PC for cheap, and this is what I ended up with. It isn't the most powerful rig out there, but I like it. It works amazingly, and can do any sort of gaming or productivity that I want. I really liked how the case that I chose actually looks very similar to the 2019 Mac Pro case (from the front at least), which is ironic seeing as how that was the SMBIOS that I went with. This led me to come up with the (admittedly extravagant) name. I quite liked how compact, yet usable the whole setup ended up being. If anybody has any questions, feel free to ask!
