Sound seems to be a known issue, but when I use headphones in Ventura the sound is perfect, as soon as I switch to amplified speakers, the sound is choppy, comes and goes, one channel works the other doesnt, its a mess.
Tried sudo killall coreaudiod and other commands in terminal, but problem persists.
Its wierd, I tried a dual connector adapter and connected the headphones and speakers at the same time, same issue, headphones work fine, speakers dont.
Now im trying to update the OS to Sonoma ( even though i have a non metal GPU, it seems to work fine for others apart from stuff like weather app and other apps )
If that doesnt work, ill try downgrading to Monterey I guess.
To make sure its not the current speakers, I will try other speakers aswell this morning
Any other suggestions are welcomed
I want to use the Imac as a musicserver/player so need to get this audio issue solved.
