Hi everyone, I would like to get a Hackintosh for cheap. I found the Xeon E5-2670 v2 on Ali for 30$. I think it is a good deal. After I saw that this Xeon can be in dual socket, I've decided to take two for a total of 20 core and 40 thread for only 60$ ! Bi-xeon are useful or not really ?
I try to find a dual CPU motherboard for LGA 2011, but either they are expensive or they are chinese on Ali. So I don't know if buy motherboard on AliExpress is safe ?
I searched if other people have already create a Hackintosh on this motherboard but I didn't find so I'm not sure if it is possible to put macOS X on this motherboard. Is it possible ?
And then I saw that Xeon can't enable turbo boost with OS X, so should I take a processor with base frequency higher ?
For the RAM I will take 16Go of ECC DDR3 memory. ECC DDR3 are compatible with Hackintosh ?
500W or 600W for bi-xeon build is enough ?
