I tried to build my first OpenCore Hackintosh this evening and did not have much luck as I can't even boot into the Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-catalina-on-supported-pc.html'>Catalina installer. I get an immediate Kernel Panic that looks like this and I'm not quite sure how to read it? Fault CR2?
Machine:
- i7 9700k
- Asus Z370-P II
- using iGPU for now, will be adding a vega56 later
Steps taken:
- create Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-catalina-on-supported-pc.html'>Catalina installer w/EFI partition
- boot to an ubuntu live USB, run SSDTTime to generate
- SSDT-EC.aml
- SSDT-PLUG.aml
- SSDT-USBX.aml
- generate config.plist via the vanilla guide
- verify bios settings in accordance with the guide. CFG-Lock is disabled, VT-d is enabled.
Here is a link to my EFI folder on github. Any thoughts or steps to take next would be greatly appreciated! I don't want to go back to clover if OpenCore is the future.
