Which guide should I follow?

I have a Lenovo y510p laptop which I disassembled. Removed the battery, touchpad, keyboard and display. Now that I usb mouse, keyboard and hdmi for display its more like a pc than anything else.

So which guide would be the best for me OpenCore laptop or OpenCore desktop?

Also if I do end up following OpenCore laptop guide do I need to create a ssdt for touchpad even if I dont have one?
